Egremont Cumbria - made by local primary schools

October 1993 to January 1994.

Mosaic entirely constructed by three local primary schools for the revamped town centre. It was hosted by the local secondary school. The theme, a traditional event exclusive to the town known as ‘Crab Fair’, was chosen by me after research and discussion with local people. The design was put together by myself using the children’s drawings, and the project received enormous support from the local community.
